Yes, CBDÍA also sells flowers containing THC. The THC value of all flowers is less than 0.3% THC. The THC value in CBD products has a major influence on the possible effect, as this is the only way the interaction can occur. The interaction of different cannabinoids can lead to the entourage effect.
Payment options
PayPal does not support CBD shops that sell CBD flowers until further notice. Many merchants still install PayPal as a payment method in their online shop until they are blocked after a short time and their PayPal account is frozen. They no longer have access to the account balance for a long time.
At CBDÍA, any CBD flowers can be legally ordered with cash on delivery in Germany only, unfortunately.
We decided to add this payment option in Germany to strengthen trust in our customers. We are aware that PayPal is by far the most popular payment option. Unfortunately, as explained above, this is not possible.
CBD flowers in UK are not available in pharmacies on prescription. However, it is different with THC flowers. These have been available to licensed cannabis patients since March 2017, provided the health insurance company agrees to the regulation. If this is the case, the costs of the cannabis therapy will be covered. Experience has shown that there are cases in which consumers and health insurance companies share the costs if more cannabis is used than prescribed.
legality
Ordering CBD flowers with less than 0.3% THC is legal in UK. So you don't have to worry about being reported or having other legal problems. However, anyone who orders CBD flowers from Switzerland could get into trouble. Here, a THC content of up to 1% THC is permitted, which is illegal in UK. The CBD flowers from CBDÍA all have a guaranteed THC content of less than 0.3% and are therefore legal throughout Europe – just like THC flowers in Germany.
As long as the CBD flowers are industrial hemp flowers from certified industrial hemp varieties of the EU variety catalog, are only suitable for perfuming environments or for research purposes, are not burned or ingested, are not intended for external consumption, contain less than 0.3% THC, cannot be abused for intoxication purposes, represent a primary product for further processing and are not used for medical-therapeutic purposes, they will be legal in the UK in 2024.
Since CBD has no intoxicating effects, it is legal as a component of flowers and cosmetics with less than 0.3% THC content in UK and the EU, insofar as it consists of EU hemp seeds, is legally registered and with no promise of healing to adults on sale is. In principle, consumption for intoxication purposes must be ruled out. The CBD flowers from CBDÍA, for example, are, as the slogan "scents of nature" already suggests, room fresheners. If they were CBD products suitable for consumption, they would be breaking the law.
If the CBD flowers have a THC content of less than 0.3%, there will be no penalty. However, anyone who carries CBD flowers from unprofessional dealers can expect a penalty. They sell illicit CBD with THC levels of more than 0.3%, which is illegal in UK. CBD from Switzerland, where up to 1% THC is permitted, also brings legal difficulties in UK.
In general, CBD flowers are easy to confuse with illegal cannabis. Ideally, you should carry the original packaging with you so that you can prove that it is legal CBD in the event of a hardship. If in doubt, we can take away your fears even if you withdraw the CBD flowers. Even third-party laboratory analyses will confirm that the CBD flowers contain less than 0.3% THC and are therefore legal – however, we cannot take responsibility for other shops, only for our own CBD flowers.
The license-free large-scale cultivation of CBD flowers in UK is not legal. A license must be applied for at the Federal Cannabis Agency, which is a major hurdle. However, it is not possible for private individuals to apply for a license.
Even if you have a cultivation license, you can only grow CBD that has a very low THC content of less than 0.3%. However, since April 2024, THC cannabis plants have been allowed to be grown in Germany – three per adult.
CBD flowers are FSK 18 and are therefore not permitted for minors. Compliance with legal requirements is relevant for every CBD shop, as its existence depends on it. Anyone who sells CBD flowers to minors under the age of 18 is liable to prosecution. The same applies not only to CBD flowers, but also to other CBD products such as CBD oils.
Effect of CBD flowers
The World Health Organization (WHO) has confirmed that CBD is not dangerous and has no potential to become addictive. It is a myth that the cannabinoid CBD can be addictive. Many ex-cannabis users are switching to CBD to break their original addiction. This shows again that CBD does not bring addiction, but is a cannabinoid to help break other addictions.
CBD does not get you high or affect your mental state. The feeling of being "high" is caused by THC (tetrahydrocannabinol). According to the World Health Organization, CBD does not cause any side effects or effects in humans that have been observed with cannabinoids like THC. At this point it should be mentioned again that our products are only intended as room fresheners and are not suitable for consumption. In addition, they all contain a THC content of less than 0.3% THC.
Only physicians or qualified health professionals can assess whether CBD flowers are healthy or not. It is advisable to consult them on specific health questions in order to receive a well-founded answer.
Topical CBD has been shown to have anti-inflammatory and analgesic (pain-relieving) properties. These could provide therapeutic pain relief without entering the bloodstream, and avoid the negative side effects commonly associated with other alternatives such as NSAIDS. CBD also has a major impact on horses.
No, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), CBD has no significant effects of abuse potential or physical dependence. In a number of controlled and open-label studies investigating possible therapeutic effects, CBD was found to be well-tolerated with a good safety profile. Not only with CBD flowers, but also with CBD oils there is no risk of addiction. If further information should be of interest, we will be happy to forward it to the answering of questions about CBD from CBDSÍ.
Importance of cannabinoids
CBD stands for cannabidiol. It is a naturally occurring chemical compound from the cannabis plant. Unlike its cousin tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), it is not psychoactive. CBD is not only available in flower form, but also as an ingredient in other products such as creams, ointments and gels.
CBG, written as cannabigerol, is, like CBD, one of around 180 cannabinoids. It can have a positive effect on problem skin as well as on sleep and mood. Furthermore, CBG could reduce intraocular pressure, which leads to tears draining. The potential effect against nausea and appetite makes CBG a unique cannabinoid. CBG flowers are particularly popular at the moment because they have a low natural THC content.
CBDV stands for cannabidivarin, a cannabinoid found in the cannabis plant. It is structurally similar to the well-known cannabidiol (CBD) and has been discovered in various strains of cannabis, but in smaller amounts.
CBDV has similar potential to CBD for medical applications and is currently the subject of intense research. There is evidence that CBDV may exhibit anti-inflammatory, antiepileptic, and neuroprotective properties. There are ongoing clinical studies examining the effectiveness of CBDV in various conditions such as epilepsy, autism, Parkinson's disease and pain management.
Although CBDV is not as well researched as some other cannabinoids, it shows promising potential for future medical applications. However, it is important to note that research in this area is still ongoing and further investigation is needed to understand the full therapeutic potential of CBDV.
There are over 180 cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. The two best-known and best-researched cannabinoids are tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD). THC is the psychoactive cannabinoid responsible for the intoxicating effects of cannabis, while CBD has non-intoxicating properties and is being studied for a variety of potential medicinal uses.
In addition to THC and CBD, there are a variety of other cannabinoids such as cannabinol (CBN), cannabigerol (CBG), cannabichromene (CBC) and many more. Each of these cannabinoids has unique properties and can potentially have different effects on the body. However, research into the different cannabinoids and their potential medicinal uses is still ongoing, and there is still much to discover and understand.
