Everything you need to know about OG Kush

Why is OG Kush considered a foundational strain?

Many modern genetics trace back to the Kush line. At CBDÍA, OG Kush stands for a CBC variety made from certified EU hemp, not the THC-rich original strain.

Where do the buds come from?

The origin is Austria, grown in a glasshouse. The seeds come from the EU variety catalogue for hemp.

What cannabinoid values are stated?

The CBC content is below 10 percent, the THC content below 0.3 percent, within the limit for hemp that may legally be sold.

What does the Kush profile taste like?

Earthy and woody with a lemony top note and the typical hint of diesel in the background.

Which terpenes shape OG Kush?

Limonene brings the citrus note, myrcene the earthy base, caryophyllene the spicy depth.

Where does the diesel note come from?

It comes from the interplay of sharp and earthy terpenes and is a hallmark of the Kush line.

What do the buds look like?

Densely grown, voluminous and richly green, with a crystalline-looking resin coating.

What does the density of the bud indicate?

It indicates careful drying. Buds that are too dry crumble, while ones that are too moist feel spongy.

How do you store OG Kush?

Cool, dark and airtight. This keeps the volatile citrus terpenes intact for longest.

OG Kush

OG Kush, the aromatic evergreen. A mix of citrus, earth and a hint of diesel creates an unmistakable taste experience. The buds are crystal-coated, voluminous and bold in expression. OG Kush impresses with its classic West Coast DNA and a terpene profile that still shapes the Kush line today.

• Origin: Austria
• Cultivation: Glasshouse
• Seeds: EU-certified hemp seeds

OG Kush CBC grows in an Austrian glasshouse under controlled conditions. Natural daylight and a managed climate ensure a consistent terpene and cannabinoid profile across batches.

Limonene brings a citrus top note and shapes the first impression. Myrcene reinforces the earthy component and provides a warm base. Caryophyllene adds a spicy depth to the aroma and rounds off the profile into the typical Kush character.

CBDÍA is considered to be the most exquisite CBD brand in the industry. It took many years to develop our plantation certification in cooperation with reputable laboratories, through which we were able to check several hundred hemp plantations for purity and quality.

We have developed this certification in collaboration with highly qualified researchers in order to demonstrate clear quality standards. The certification we have created is only obtained after successfully passing extensive checks that examine the entire cultivation cycle, from seed to fermentation. All of these criteria go beyond human perception – this gives us a decisive advantage in the CBD industry: the highest quality hemp plantations in Europe, where the most flavorful and terpene-rich CBD flowers are produced.
